Loondocks | Lakeside Hideout w/ Sauna

Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Sip coffee and watch the sunrise, lay out a towel at the end of the dock, or share a meal with the whole family! This is the perfect all-season getaway.

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Jim & Peg’s Private Suite

Your private suite includes a bedroom with two queen beds, a kitchen and sitting nook, a bathroom, a large television with cable and hookups for your tech devices. A den/ living room with a fireplace and a tv, and a private deck. Just steps out the door you can take the stairway down to the lake and enjoy sunset and lake views. Lake toys are available. Our home is just a quick 2mi drive into the town of White Bear Lake- a charming, hip and town full of shopping, dinning, more lake.

Welcome to our expansive lakefront retreat! Its sandy, clear beachfront is the perfect destination for families, friends, and large groups. The home features 5 bedrooms, plenty of beds and sleeping areas, breathtaking views of the lake, a sauna, and a hot tub. We have fishing gear, a pontoon for rent ($300/day), volleyball, cross-net, badminton, cornhole, beach swimming, and endless outdoor activities. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for gatherings for friends and family.

Welcome to your very own private retreat on North Center Lake! A short drive from the twin cities brings you to the wonderful city of Lindstrom. This home is situated on over an acre on North Center Lake with beautiful trees surrounding the property to allow for plenty of privacy. This home can sleep up to 8 people. It provides 2 queen beds, 1 full bed and 2 twin beds. North Center Lake is one of the chain of lakes is Chisago County and is known for great bass fishing.

A North Chalet on North Lindstrom Lake

North Chalet is a secondary floor and loft suite in a traditional red and white Swedish style home with interior Scandinavian charm. Located in "Little Sweden" Lindstrom, the chalet is a short hill down from the center of town, so close one can walk to breakfast at the Swedish Inn or bakery and visit the small shops in the thriving town center. Your front door is on a quiet road that ends in a natural boat launch, convenient to the home’s beach on North Lindstrom Lake.

3 Bed Lake House w/ HOT TUB

3 bedroom (2 king, 1 queen), 2 bath house located on South Center Lake. Soak in the beautiful view from the HOT TUB and private balconies. Enjoy your summer on the lake or cozy up for a night in with the heated floors during the winter months. Snacks and a coffee, fresh ground from our local roaster (Dark or light roast - your choice!) Onsite laundry/gas grill/full kitchen/yard games/paddle boat/canoe Entrance on lower level is wheelchair accessible.

PoCo Cabin

Relax with your special someone, or the whole family at this lakefront cabin. Sit on the deck to hear the loons and enjoy the "best view on the lake" according to the neighbors. All new furniture and appliances are sure to have you comfortable as can be. Turn on the gas fireplace if you need to take the chill off, or just for some ambiance as you nestle into the couch for a movie. The couch opens to a comfortable bed for more personal space if needed.

Enjoy a touch of history and unique art deco flare in your retreat.
