We’re a 5 minute walk to the Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Museum and Miners Gold Brewery. Seahorse World & Platypus House are a short drive away. Further afield you’ll find destinations like Cradle Mountain National Park and the Great Lakes.

You will have your own entrance, a comfortable bedroom & ensuite, private deck with BBQ and kitchenette with washing machine. Craig, Ruth and Stella the dog live in the other half of the house with our own entrance. Plenty of good walks, wineries and museums locally. Decks on both the East and West side of the house so great for sunrise and sunset! A great place to relax!

Fully furnished with linen supplied, well equipped kitchen just bring your own food or go out for meals at Deloraine or Sheffield. You could base your holiday here and do day trips to Cradle mountain ,Launceston, North West coast ,Western tiers, wine routs central to all of these. Discounts apply for 5 night stays .

Nestling in a forest of Peppermint Gums is Wylah Cottage, so named after the Aboriginal word for the Yellow Tailed, Black Cockatoo, which is regularly seen and heard around the property. A secluded, self contained, bush retreat, located close to all the good things Tasmania has to offer. On 55 acres of bushland, teeming with wildlife, yet only 7kms from Deloraine – on the way to Cradle Mountain, and 45 minutes to either the Devonport Ferry, or Launceston Airport.
