Take your pup with you to Chateau Morissette winery, just 18 miles away, or relax on one of the porches and watch the deer or fox stroll by.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Welcome to the Chalet at Black Water Junction! This stylish one bedroom A-frame cabin features spiral stairs, natural wood finishes, huge glass windows with a spacious deck with private gorgeous views, a hot tub with unlimited star gazing above! If you are like myself and enjoy movies and tv, we have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus for all of our guests on both of the TV’s. We give you the chance to get away from it all, and enjoy the company of many of our loving farm animals.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Our cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia is perfect for a relaxing get away. We are located just outside the main entrance of Fairystone State Park in a quiet and safe cabin community. Our cabin sleeps six to eight people comfortably. Simply enjoy the peace and quiet on the front porch, or settle in with a good book by the gas fireplace. Nearby towns feature quaint shops, vineyard tours, wine tasting, along with local fishing holes & walking trails.
