It’s private but central to everything the Valley has to offer, and an easy drive to Hobart and other Southern Tasmania destinations. Outside is an acre of lawn and native gardens, birds and occasional wildlife, plenty of parking and large decks with views in all directions. It’s the perfect luxurious base to explore the south-west.

Glaziers Bay Cottage is a colonial style building with modern facilities. It features 2.7m ceilings, walk in robe, open plan living area and kitchen. Ten minutes from Cygnet with magnificent views of vineyards, the Hartzview mountains, the Huon River and walking distance to Fat Pig Farm nextdoor. Cereals, local free range eggs, bread, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee included for a DIY breakfast. I'm really sorry but one night bookings are not viable so I have a two night minimum booking.

We are situated 1 hour drive from Hobart, on the Huon River Estuary. The ambience of the property is a secluded, rural, actual waterfront acreage. Guests may enjoy the pebble beach and rock pools together with the private jetty for fishing. We have a secure fenced area adjacent to the chalet suitable for well-behaved pets. The Huon Burrow has half a metre of material on the roof composed of soil, gravel and insulation on top of a waterproof barrier, then 20 tons of concrete and one ton of reinforced steel.
