Stay on a Working Flower Farm in a Modern Home

Soak up the secluded splendor of this modern farmhouse in the Cape Winelands. A new expansive view awaits at every turn—admire one side of the mountain range in the light-filled entrance hall, and take in the other from the spacious sitting room that brings the outdoors in with a full-size maple tree and sliding glass doors. Colorful textiles and eclectic art objects collected from around the world enliven the farmhouse interiors, where leafy greens and flowers fill each room. Take a dip in the outdoor 15m pool, then enjoy a meal near a wood-burning fireplace on the outdoor patio. Modern house with farm interior. Access to all areas including own pool and garden. The farmhouse is set in a secluded area just a short drive away from the quaint town of Stellenbosch, ripe with many fruit orchards and wine vineyards—some date as far back as the 1650s. Foodies would be wise to pit stop at Foliage, an award-winning restaurant listed as one of the “World’s 50 Best” restaurants. Own transport is recommended, but Uber is available if needed, guests use them often successfully. Gay friendly. Perfectly located.

Lakeside cabin with wood fired hot tub

Rosemary cottage is one of three cabins which rest on the edge of a lake in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light filled, modern cabin with a wood fired hot tub, direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is intended as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for a small extra fee. There is an infrared sauna below the dam for you to use.

La Vieille Cure

LaViellie Cure in one of the oldest house in Franschhoek, built earlier than 1850 and declared National Monument in 1981. The cottage has its own private entrance and cozy courtyard with mountain view and pergolas at the front and back patios. The inside is characterised by a spacious open studio that retains the historical features with an added touch of modernity. The historical cottage is at walking distance from restaurants and from the wine tram station and many others amenities!!

Hanepoot Cottage on Franschhoek farm

Hanepoot Cottage is close to Franschhoek village. You’ll love the cottage because of the spacious, private, setting on a working wine and fruit farm nestled against the mountains of Franschhoek Valley. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). You are welcome to explore the farm and even practice your chipping and putting skills on the green.There is an inverter to provide electricity during loadshedding periods.

Sage Cottage situated at 10 Uitkyk street, Franschhoek. Spacious farm style 4 bedroomed cottage – 2 bathrooms. 3 bedrooms upstairs – Mainbed room with en-suite bathroom. 2 bedrooms sharing a full bathroom with separate toilet. All bedrooms can sleep 2. A 4th bedroom with shower bathroom available for 2 extra guests. Airport shuttles or taxi services are available. Take note that a wood burning fireplace has been installed.

De Villiers House

Modern, newly renovated and decorated house situated within walking distance to the main road. Great double volume living spaces, generous size pool and fantastic outside living space - perfect for a family holiday. All 3 rooms are ensuite with fresh crisp linen. The modern kitchen is well equipped, open plan and interactive. Great news is we have an inverter for lights and wifi to assist during load shedding.
