Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. This seasonal treehouse (May-15 -Sept 30) located near the mighty Quesnel river, Shaky Knees Tree House sits 7 metres high among Western red cedar and Douglas fir trees. The spacious wrap around deck looks out on a mixed evergreen and deciduous forest with a daisy meadow at its feet. A relaxing gurgle can be heard as Youngren creek ambles down the hill beside the tree house. This very private area includes a pond with a small waterfall. Shaky Knees is an eco-friendly, unplugged experience.

Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.
