We welcome those who are looking for a unique place to stay. We are close to Taneytown (Antrim 1844), Gettysburg, Frederick, Ski Liberty, Catoctin Mountain, Carroll County Wine Trail, Flood Zone. We do live upstairs, you are renting a walkin basement, and have use of outdoor spaces.

The bedroom boasts an antique canopy bed, wonderful views, marble topped dresser and washstand and modern heat/AC. The large bathroom includes a corner tub. The 2nd floor Jarboe Suite is situated nicely with an equipped kitchenette that includes a dry-sink conversion. Those receptive to the spirits can experience the whispering voices of the past echoing through this Civil War estate!

Relax and enjoy the countryside! Historic 1796 Brookdale Farm Guesthouse nestled in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia’s wine country! This quaint, rustic cottage was formerly a schoolhouse located in Hillsboro, Va. In the early 1900's, this building was pulled 11 miles by mule to its current location. Residents of Lovettsville walked along side the mules to watch this local, historic event. The schoolhouse now sits in a neighborhood surrounded by horse farms and mountain views.
