Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. The sounds of the river are sure to put you to sleep at night!

This rustic experience also offers walking trails, private Vaal River access (1km from the house) and the renowned Ertjies Berg Cycle route.

Rose Garden Manor House B+B Sitting in the shade of a 150 year old Elm tree with a view of Platberg Mountain and sleeping in one of Harrismith’s historical landmarks is a treat. Harrismith is the gem of the Free State, the gateway to the Drakensberg. The Rose Garden manor house was built in 1895 and is owned and run by David and Gill Weaver who have maintained the tradition of a classic B+B so you get to experience life with a South African family.

The cabin was thoughtfully designed and furnished to ensure upmost comfort and views from all angles.

Bakhuto Cottage is a semi detached apartment on the premises of Bakhuto Crib . Fully furnished and self catering. It offers modern stylish private accommodation with a touch of vintage.
