Windswept is the perfect word to describe the continual changes of the weather on Wolfe Island. The River one morning can be calm and serene but by the end of the afternoon, waves that rival the ocean come racing in. Each season brings its own delights, whether its kayaking along the shores in the summer, watching the steamships go by or seeing the deer at the waters edge. Windswept has something for everyone. Our home is spacious, very clean & comfortable - min. 2 excellent reviews from previous stays through Airbnb is essential to book. Our location is quiet - a park 2 minute walk away & forested area. Downtown, Queen’s campus and Lake Ontario are a 5-minute drive. Kitchen has everything for cooking + simple breakfast; bagels, cereals hot/cold etc. Enjoy TV, kids toys & books by the fireplace. Master bedroom on lower level is large, private with fireplace.
