Walk to the Beach from a Quaint and Brightly Renovated House

Design Sea House 2 with unique decoration by Coração Alecrim store. The house has two floors, on the first floor there is a mezzanine. In the Ground floor there is a one toilet and a living room with kitchene. The bedroom have direct sunlight. Outdoor terrace with great sun exposure. The house is in a prime area of the city, near the beach and the mouth of the Douro River. It's a quiet area with many restaurants and bars, a traditional market, and an organic food store. A municipal garden and a bicycle rental shop are close by. Transports: bus, tram, tourist bus and cab. Free parking in the area. We recommend a trip to the city park and if you like to eat good fish or seafood go to Matosinhos city where you find many restaurants. Matosinhos is a land of fishermen.

Green Cottage Porto by City Park

The Green Cottage is located 1 min near the quiet rural entrance of the City Park, leading to Foz and Matosinhos beaches and surf schools (20 min walking). Across the street you will find a direct public transport to the city center (30min). The Cottage, rebuild and decorated by us, has a cozy vintage indoor environment, a queen size bed, a full equipped kitchenette and a big wooden balcony surrounded by a pleasant garden. A very relaxing place within the vibrant and urban environment of Porto.

The apartment (Penthouse) has a vertical garden terrace, a bedroom with a 1.60 x 2.0 meter double bed, wardrobes and a safe. A living room with sofa, 4K TV, cable channels and Netflix, Rotel bluetooth sound system and mini bar with free drinks available for guests. Kitchen equipped with: Microwave, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Induction hob, Toaster, Kettle and Nexpresso. Full bathroom including bidet and shower, hairdryer and amenities (shower gel, shampoo and body cream), iron and ironing board.

This charming suite is on the 2nd floor of our 400sqm private house with plenty of soul, tradition, and history. The house was originally built in 1896 and keeps the main structure since 1936. More than an accommodation our guests book an experience in a particularly unique, personal, and authentic way. We are a family of cultural mixes and we love the concept of sharing, receiving, and taking care of our guests as new friends. We’re located in the Art District, close to the historical center.

Afurada is an original fishing village, 5 kilometers out of Porto, directly on the Estuario do Douro nature reserve. The house was completely renovated in 2022 / 2025 and offers luxurious comfort. Your cozy holiday home offers space for two or three people. Surrounding the house you will find 25 restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a golf place, the port of Afurada 300 m and the Atlantic coast only 2 km away with wonderful beaches, jogging paths, restaurants and idyllic wooden walkways.

My appartment is located near the sea, 10 minutes by car to the Historic Center of Porto. The neighbourhood offers a variety of leisure options, such as gardens, beaches, restaurants and bars. The City Park (Parque da Cidade) and Serralves Museum are at a 15 minutes walking distance. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this space due to its typical neighbourhood environment. This appartment is suitable for couples and families with children, individual adventure trips and business stays.

Porto Island is located at Boavista neighbourhood, midway between the historic centre and the sea. In front of a rent-a-car and a cafe and a few steps from bus stop, supermarket, restaurants and pharmacy. We have 3 houses located along a backyard with a pleasant garden, barbecue and tables to enjoy your meals outside. The backyard and houses cannot be seen from the street (a locked gate makes the separation), thus assuring you privacy and quietness.
