Studio Lodge is a charming stylish lodge nestled amid beautiful countryside, perfect for a romantic retreat or a family holiday. Close to Dumfries, 7 Stanes, Solway Firth and an array of castles, museums, pubs and eateries. Located in a lovely rural position on the edge of a small family run lodge park. The Sea Cubby, Private Holiday Lodge, Portling.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Fern Lodge is set in 2.5 acres of wild and tamed gardens ,ancient oaks and woodland .Just 5 mins walk to the beach,coastal paths, golf course and forest.Fabulous for bouldering on the shore ,mountain biking ,forest treks and lochs for wild swimming! Ideal also for the photographer ,painter and poet!

Oak Tree Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Carrick Lodge at The Old Church, secluded retreat

Carrick Lodge is one of two lodges within the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church. Set in a semi-rural location, it is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a lovely private, secluded and sheltered covered decking area with wood burning stove, allowing you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is less than a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.

Total peace and quiet in this luxury off grid log cabin. Relax in a wood fired hot tub, toast marshmallows at the fire pit or get cosy around the log burner with a good book. You will be surrounded by nature just metres from the edge of the forest, with stunning views of the Galloway Hills and zero light pollution to interrupt the fabulous stargazing opportunities.

Clough head Mire house

Clough Head pod is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes glamping to a new level. Head outside to it’s own private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or take a soak in the hot tub and read a good book!

Redkirk retreats, Pod 1 Juniper

Juniper is a great pod for 4 people, double bed and sofa bed. all the essentials you will need kettle, fridge, oven, microwave, toaster smart tv and free WiFi. it is also ideal for bringing your pets, has a private decking area with a gate on, so no one wanders off, we also supply dog/cat bed if you need one.
