The water is clear and clean, perfect for swimming and water activities. Very clean shoreline (no weeds). It's a beautiful, peaceful and private place.

Welcome to our cottage on Dog Lake, a beautiful and serene lake noted for its fishing, paddling and wild life. Nestled between Toronto and Montreal, we are the perfect destination for those needing some quiet time while visiting the 1000 islands. Build a bonfire, go for a swim, explore your surroundings by canoe or on foot. There's lots to do. Or, do nothing at all. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

The Boathouse

The views are surreal! With over a 200 degree view, sitting on the couch seems like sitting over the top of the water. Located on a small protected bay, also home to two yacht clubs, you'll see boaters of all kinds. The fishing is fabulous right from the dock. Located on a quiet private road, you'll be walking distance a from restaurants, an ice cream shop, shopping, banking, the local library, and even a small winery! There is deep water dockage if you plan to bring a boat.

On the quiet Gananoque River, my cottage is the perfect year-round getaway for couples, solo adventurers, and families (fur babies included) Follow us on social! A 5 min drive to Gananoque - close to restaurants, golf courses, and trails for hiking, or x-country skiing. Great outdoor space that's flat and right on the water with a private beach area and camp fire pit. Indoors, the cottage has all the comforts you need for an enjoyable stay. Come make some memories!

Lyncreek Cottage is open year round. it sits on private property on Lyndhurst river in Lyndhurst, Ontario. Observe various types of waterfowl or enjoy the sound of our meandering river as it flows into Lyndhurst Lake. This is all part of the natural surroundings in your own private cottage. A great place to stay if you are travelling through the area or while enjoying all the area has to offer including excellent fishing, paddling and hiking area trails.

Cabin has electricity with mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, tea, coffee (Keurig), dishes, BBQ, fan, bedding provided. Bring your food, special beverages, and relax. Pets stay free.
