Fully equipped & serviced log house, with 2 outside braai/barbeque area with full ocean view, is walking distance from the main beach. There is a reef running parallel to the beach which makes for good snorkelling and fishing, also creating a lagoon during low tide which are perfect for swimming & other water activities. In the winter months (May - July), you can see the whales migrating. Minimum guests per night - 2 adults. Restaurant on resort, with delivery, TV & Wi-Fi services available.

Take it easy here. This is simple living at it's best. Relax on the patio and listen to the birds. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. No wi-fi (use your cell phone with local data), no TV. 500 steps to the lagoon. Safe, comfortable with all the home trimmings but rustic. Certainly not five star but by design. We have kept the original bricks and deliberately did not plaster them to keep the house rustic. Unsymmetrical paint too. 4 x 4 required for easy access to property from Bilene.

Experience the unrefined, culture-rich environment like never before. Situated on the Eastern side of Lagoa Uembje, Shongili Lodge is reached by an 8 minute boat ride over clear, clean waters from the Mozambique town of Biléne. Or for the adventurous drivers, an hour and a half scenic 4x4 or 2x4 drive from the same town. The lodge is run completely on solar power with water sourced from a well on the grounds, This may mean a little less appliances, but also an abundance of quiet reflection.

This type 2 house is fully furnished & equipped, including air conditioning in all compartments, bed linen, towels, sofas, TV, refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, kitchen utensils. This is a magical place with total exclusivity if you are longing for that and adventure in an extraordinary setting. You have the lagoon as a calm private beach and you can take a 10 minutes walk to the wilder Indian Ocean. The house is perfect for a couple or a small family. From the Bilene village to the house you take a 10 minutes boat trip. If you have a 4x4 car you can drive around the beach and it takes almost one hour. There is a spectacular bird life with more than 26 species.

Across the sand road is the meandering bush path which leads to the private white sandy beach. True barefoot bliss.

Wake up to humming birds and take a walk through the immensity of trees embellished by over 30 different species of plants. Take breakfast by the pool and shameless selfies on the pool swing :) Every detail in this house is meant to make it cozy while appealing to the eye. If it gets rainy, we suggest you jump on the couch for some Netflix time, or get to that 8 ball first if you feel like some pool! Sarita and Felix will welcome you to the house and take care of you while you relax!

House nr 5 at Xai Xai Exo Estate is called House Hineni. It was bought with a vision to provide a peaceful, spacious house as resting and restoration home away from home. Hineni means Here Am I, send me! Hineni is a beach house with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Walking distance from the beach and close to many restaurants and other areas to explore. We also own house nr 3 with the name: Hosannah. You are welcome to stay at any of these two beautiful homes.

You can engage in various activities on site and in the surrounding area, like boat trip to Nghunghwa for Lodge, 10 minute drive to the Villa where you may find restaurants ,stores traditional artwork and clothing.
