Welcome to The Railway Cottage 🛤 Only 3 km from the city centre of Geraldton and 800 m from the most loved Beresford foreshore boasting an ocean front walkway to parks, cafes and shops. In an area you're most welcome to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a very unique location , tucked behind a large vacant block, edged by native bushland with spectacular sunsets and ocean views The house is filled with character, yet freshly renovated & has a very homey feel. Wagtail SHACK -Geraldton - Dog Friendly

Wagtail is an old, quirky, workers shack; the floorboards creak, the walls are a wee bit wonky, the skirting doesn't meet up in the toilet and there is no WiFi, BUT it is clean and tidy, has mod cons such as a TV, microwave and stove, washing machine etc. If you like shiny and new, please don't book. The outside facade and (non-existent!) gardens are next in line for a makeover but the inside is bright, clean and cosy. Please be aware that there are seasonal double gees in the backyard.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Enjoy the outdoor views from the balcony or the hot tub. Ample space with a large home theatre and kitchen area. All rooms are air conditioned so you can beat the heat. Pets are welcome but must be outside, we have a large very secure area outside for your beloved pet to wander. We have a spa for guest to use but you must fill it/drain it yourself. It does take time to reach temperature too so not suited to a one night stay.

My place is close to the beach, and only 10 minutes to the city centre. You will love the peace and tranquillity, the sunsets, ocean views, and the comfortable cottage. My place is good for couples or a single - maximum of 2 people. If travelling with your pet, we ask you pay a $20 surcharge. Please note, we do allow single night stays, however for busy times (such as long weekends, Easter and Christmas), we reserve the right to accept bookings of 2 or more nights as a minimum.

It is a 5 minute easy walk to a beach and coastal walk, and a 5 minute drive/30 min walk to the Town centre & Geraldton’s Foreshore with it’s Shop’s, the Cafe strip, Restaurants, and Hotels.

This newly renovated simple and centrally located place Is located just on the outskirts of town only 1-2km from beaches, hospital, central Geraldton, supermarkets and more and has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. Owner lives on the property in a seperate dwelling. Unit is listed as pet friendly however there are currently 2 dogs living on the property which are fenced separately
