Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord. In summer, spend the days swimming, boating or fishing & the nights cozied up by the bon fire. Winter, enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, or cross-country skiing with 11 miles of trails just a mile away. There's also plenty of space for entertaining inside & out with ample parking for boats & trailers.

Au Sable River Getaway

One mile from the Mason Wilderness Tract, view eagles, deer and other wildlife out the front door, relax beside the peaceful South Branch of the Au Sable, a trout stream (catch and release, please), hunt in fall, enjoy cross-country skiing at several nearby trails including the 12-mile-long Mason Tract Trail, ski rentals, lessons and trails nearby. The Lookout is a fabulous lake home with breathtaking views directly on Michigan's largest inland lake.
