Welcome to the Arbutus Loft.

A very short drive or walk from the Langdale Ferry Terminal, this rustic 2 bedroom, loft w/sauna home is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or long stay retreat! Located on a very steep 3/4 acre property, you will be surrounded by nature. Deer, birds and the occasional black bear will delight you if you are quiet and patient. Just a four minute walk to Hopkins Landing, where a dock and sandy beach await. It’s the perfect place for kids of all ages (and their dog!), to play or just relax!

The "Love Shack" is the perfect get away for a couple or a pair of close friends! Nestled in the woods you will find a rustic cabin with cedar skin siding. Endless hot water on demand and electric fire place make for a cozy feel in the winter. The deck is an ideal space to sit and enjoy a beverage! Our licensed ocean view suite (built in 2022) is centrally located on the Sunshine Coast in West Sechelt. It’s a 5 min drive (20 min walk) into town with the bus stop 2 mins from the front door. Kick back and relax on the spacious patio where you can enjoy our gas fire bowl, Weber BBQ and backyard after a day of exploring. Our private one bedroom suite comes with a queen size bed, queen size pull out couch, smart 50” tv, high speed fibre optic internet and air conditioning.

Cubby Cabin on Reed - Under the Stars

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located Cabin on an acreage in Upper Gibsons. Cubby Cabin is a newly renovated studio space at the back of our 2.5 acre property on Reed. The Cabin is a super funky and laid back home away from home. The house is nestled amongst giant cedars and a wonderful, mature garden on a very private half-acre property. It is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing vacation, yet close to everything the coast has to offer.

Roberts Creek Rainforest Cabin at Gough Creek

Gough Creek Cabin is a timber frame, studio cabin that is nestled in the old-growth rainforests of xwesam (Roberts Creek) on BC's Sunshine Coast. The cabin overlooks a beautiful mossy creek and is located at the gateway to world-class mountain biking, hiking and many villages, cafes and breweries. We are located 20 minutes from Langdale Ferry Terminal, 15 minutes from both Sechelt and Gibsons, and 5 minutes from the lovely Roberts Creek village.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
