Quiet Ocean Front Beach House

Welcome to Our Friends Beach House on beautiful Lang Bay looking out to the Malaspina Strait on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. We are 12 km south of Powell River and 15 km north of the Saltery Bay ferry terminal. You can also fly into Powell River on Coastal Air and rent a car at the airport. This comfortable quiet A-frame cabin sleeps 4, one bedroom with a queen bed and a spiral staircase leading to a queen bed in the loft. There is a full size kitchen with pots, pans, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and some spices supplied. There is a full size washer and dryer and BBQ as well. There is a TV, movies, books, games and puzzles. Wifi internet is also available. Watch the salmon swim up the creek to the spawning channel and observe the blue herons, ducks, geese and many other birds as they float over and swim in the bay. Relax on the deck as you listen to the song birds and watch the eagles soar. Snuggle by the wood stove as you watch a movie and relax in your own private cabin. You need only bring your clothes and food. Everything else is supplied. There is a golf course 10 minutes away and the town of Powell River is 20 minutes away. There are 3 major grocery stores as well as a major department store and many specialty shops and local businesses. There are many fresh water lakes as well as hiking and biking trails, scuba diving and chartered fishing trips in the area. There are many local artists in the area too.

This rustic log home, styled like a chalet, is both cosy and stylish as it's furnished and decorated by an Interior Designer. Unique coastal touches abound throughout the home from its round window over the brand new range to the aqua backsplash tiles. Whether you choose to spend the day exploring the beach or curled up inside watching the waves in a storm, there is always something to enjoy.

There is two bedrooms with Queen beds, and a kids bunk room has 3 single beds. One Bathroom with a Shower. A large main room with fireplace. Cabin is situated above a lovely stretch of beach, a perfect spot to catch the sun or launch your kayak or canoe. Enjoy quiet days paddling, fishing or swimming on this non-power lake or explore the wooded trails.

Peaceful oceanside garden suite with covered patio area, fire table and BBQ. Steep path to private beach. Enjoy panoramic ocean view from your suite and watch otters play and whales spout. Eagles soar from treetops and hummingbirds zip about the garden. Newly renovated suite boasts fully equipped kitchen. A bathroom for pampering with tub/shower and heated floors. Bench 170

Not suitable for children or infants. Lots of concrete and sharp corners. Enjoy the entire upper floor of this unique West Coast Modern home, built in 2012, with use of front lawn. A delight for architecture enthusiasts, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for 7 years. The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighborhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

This cozy guest house is located in Lang Bay , 20 minutes from Powell River. This is a perfect space for a rural getaway that is a peaceful and private place to stay right near the beach. Beach access is at the end of our street with an under 1 minute walk. Powell River has an amazing 32 lakes , beautiful hikes , fishing and so much more , this space is perfect just for this getaway Access to seasonal, fresh eggs from our backyard chicken coop.
