Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Just 5 minutes from the centre of Gisborne and only a 2 minute walk to the beautiful wainui surf beach. Just a short stroll to our local zephyr cafe and neighbourhood cantina. Our house has 4 bedrooms and enough room for the whole family with a great indoor/outdoor flow. The deck has a covered louvre system allowing you to enjoy the country feel while relaxing outside listening to the native birds amongst the beautiful trees.

Magnolia Cottage

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.

The Cedar Retreat

Gisborne has some of the best beaches you will find in NZ and if summer is true to form the temperature can hit 30 degrees plus, if fishing is your hobby there are miles of beaches to do a bit of surfcasting, you also have the famous HWY 35 to explore at your leisure. If surfing is your buzz you will be spoilt for choice. Gisbornes horticulture scene is booming with many wineries to visit and taste some of our Chardonnay classics making us the Chardonnay capital of NZ.

THE BOARDROOM CHALET

The Boardroom chalet its a bright and modern 2 bedrrom unit amongst a beautiful garden. Wake up to the sound of the tuis playing in the trees! A short 5 min walk to the famous Stock route beach break at Wainui Beach, you'll also pass Zepher store on the way perfect for coffee and takeaways. There is plenty of room to roam around if you have kids and also a trampoline and tree house. The chalet is also set behind The Boardroom surf shop where LOST surfboards are produced.

Stanford Retreat

Bring everyone together at a spacious Gisborne retreat designed for families and groups. Sleeping 16+ guests across 6 bedrooms and 2 cabins, the property has a large pool, spa, 3 bathrooms and expansive outdoor entertaining area, two living areas, and plenty of off-street parking. Lovely three bedroom home with great back yard and pool to keep everyone happy in the Gisborne summer. Please note the pool is not in use from May to Labour weekend in October. Everything you need to relax and unwind. Plenty of off street parking for cars and down a private drive. You will not be disappointed with this easy care house. The pool is available from November to April.

Single storey guest wing in a sheltered, established garden a stones throw from Sponge Bay. Private and secluded the guest wing has its own terrace, entrance and parking at the front of the house. There is a 12 metre teardrop swimming pool set in its own private garden for guest use. Enjoy the birdlife and rural aspect with all the advantages of being close to town and beaches.

Self contained guest house with magnificent views over Gisborne & out to Young Nicks Head. Pretty view of the city lights at night. Separate from our home. Swimming pool & spa pool for your use.
