Ideally situated to visit Glastonbury, Street, Wells and Bruton, and with easy access to Millfield’s senior and prep schools, The Newt and Glastonbury Festival. The accommodation is full of period features but is cosy and perfect for feeling like you're getting away from it all. The Old Game Keepers cottage at Forest Lodge is a hidden gem in beautiful woodland near Glastonbury in rural Somerset. With abundant wildlife, fabulous countryside walks and views from the doorstep, it’s truly a special place to relax around nature. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained with private woods, trampoline, swing, football net and Wii. Everything you would need is provided along with fresh eggs from our free roaming hens when laying, coffee pods and wood for the wood burner.

Lakeside Barn, Woodford Farm - Wells, Somerset

Lakeside Barn is a newly refurbished luxury modern one bedroom barn conversion. It has retained it's original charming features such as high ceilings and beams. Lakeside Barn consists of an open plan kitchen/living/dining room which leads onto spacious double bedroom and modern stylish bathroom. The floor is tiled throughout with cosy underfloor heating. Surrounding the barn there is a large patio area overlooking our beautiful lake with stunning panoramic views of the Somerset countryside.

The Wheelwrights Workshop

The Wheelwrights Workshop is located at the end of an old barn which has since been converted into this lovely self catering cottage that sleeps two. Please note currently we are offering this cottage at a reduced rate as outside the main door of the cottage there is another old barn which is yet to be converted and due to that there is a little clutter. Rest assured though once inside the cottage you will not notice it and the bedroom window has views of the Tor our only cottage that does.

Godminster Manor Cottage

Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. The 'Newt in Somerset' is next door and there many other wonderful nearby destinations and beautiful walks from the farm within the surrounding countryside.

Relax in Myrtle Cottage at The Old Thatch, Pitney

Myrtle cottage is a modern, dedicated living space annexed to our 17th century thatched cottage. Pitney itself is a delightful small village situated above The Levels. There is a traditional pub serving real ales, local ciders and great home cooked food and the superb Pitney Farm shop offering organic meat and veg from the mixed farm & market garden. The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.

Frassino Cottage is a peaceful retreat on the southern tip of Street, home to Clarks Village shopping outlet and Millfield School. The accommodation offers modern facilities in a private space within the plot of the host family’s home. It’s set on a lane that’s popular with local dog walkers and joggers, and the Polden Way footpath is just up the hill. The Ham Wall National Nature Reserve and the historic centres of Glastonbury, Wells and Somerton are a short drive away.
