Unique octagon home set over the South Fork of the New River. Large deck overlooks scenic river view. Open the windows and feel the fresh air and hear the river below. Steps to the river enable fishing, kayaking, swimming, river walking or a great place to watch the sun set. This small charming cottage is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Glendale Springs. It’s close enough to ‘do all the things,’ but you’ll feel totally secluded at The Happy Place. A fun mural waits for your selfies! Near Hiking, tubing, kayaking, and waterfalls. West Jefferson is within 15-20 minutes. Out of the Blue Cabin cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin located in quaint West Jefferson, NC. With stunning views, Out of the Blue Cabin is the perfect little getaway spot to relax and unwind from life's demands. It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. Bed linens, towels, washer and dryer are included in your stay.

Dog friendly to all well behaved pups. 4WD may be necessary during inclement weather.

Our Happy Little Hut

Come and stay in our unique quonset hut just 15 minutes to Boone! This is a half circle metal building turned into a unique tiny home cabin experience. This 400 sq ft space has everything you need including a bedroom, bathroom and upstairs kids loft. The main area has colorful wood details and an accent wall with 100 year old barn wood right from our own farm. The water is straight from a natural spring up our mountain. This space is ideal for couples, and two kids.

Mayapple loft - Glamping on The Parkway

Our private tiny glamping cabin with loft, outdoor shower, port a John, covered patio with grill and fire pit is located on 40 acres in the middle of a National Park just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Down the road you can enjoy rafting, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, frescoes, paragliding, skiing and waterfalls. Additional camping and other tiny house options are also available on the property. Full bath available nearby at the main cabin
