Gulkana River Ranch Bed and Breakfast

Our place is right on The Gulkana River. You’ll love our sauna, skiing, and 77-acre homestead. We are off the grid (no electricity), but have a sink, wood stove (we start for you), clean outhouse (no indoor toilet) and plenty of water that we haul for you. Outdoor shower is very rustic. Gulkana River Ranch is a haven for those wishing to be close to nature and experience bush Alaska as it used to be. Mod cons quite limited: Instagram-worthy photos plentiful:) Adventure awaits the hearty soul!

Green Gables BnB- Kennicott, Valdez & Copper River

Relax with the whole family at the beautiful Green Gables Acres in the quiet homesteading community of Kenny Lake. Located at the edge of the Wrangel St. Elias National Park, Green Gables is just minutes from the Copper River. Such a place to explore! If you’re Alaskan, come while the salmon run and get your fish! With the Chugiak mountains as your back drop this home boasts a full kitchen, laundry and bath with three queen beds. A perfect layover and midway for McCarthy/Kennicott and Valdez!

Copperville B & B - Mt. Wrangell Apartment

Come enjoy a 900 sq. ft. apartment with a queen memory foam bed in the bedroom, a queen memory foam bed and a futon in the living room. A complete kitchen is included. We are just across the Copper River from the Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. The Copper River is within walking distance. Both the Gulkana and the Klutina Rivers are about 15 miles away. Stay in this peaceful rustic Alaska cabin located between Glennallen and Valdez Alaska just off of the Richardson Hwy. Hidden away by itself in a grove of spruce and cottonwood trees, you will experience a hint of being alone in the Alaska wilderness while at the same time you will have some modern conveniences such as easy access to the highway, electricity, water spigot (summer) and WIFI. Located within short walking distance of the Tonsina River, Squirrel Creek, and Squirrel Creek Lake.

Little House • Two Bedroom Rural Cabin

Little House is a hand-built two-bedroom log cabin on our 320-acre working Alaskan homestead. Both bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds. The master has a bay window and a jack and jill bathroom that opens to the hallway. The cabin has hot water, electricity, internet, and all essentials. The kitchenette has a two-burner stovetop and basic cookware. There is a compact dining table, a three-person sofa, and a recliner. No TV or city amenities, just mountain views and privacy.

Entire log home guesthouse with private entrance

Rest at Alaska Golden Guesthouse, a modern, second story log home, close to world class fishing, rafting, and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Located on our family homestead circa 1963, this is Grammie's home with some mobility aids available. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. We are happy to share it with you.

Gulkana River Cabin - Located Close To River

Nicely furnished rustic cabin nestled among large spruce trees. Located approximately 3/4 mile from the Gulkana River (12 miles north of Glennallen). Cabin is also located just 8 miles from Gakona/Copper River. Beautiful views of the magnificent Wrangell Mountains abound in the area. Guests arriving before May 1 must bring water, lighting, some firewood and access may be difficult due to snow and a sled may be required for part of the 1/3 mile distance from the highway.

Quaint one-room Alaska cabin close to adventure!

Excellent cabin to rest, recover, and base your Alaskan adventures out of! The cabin is small (16′ x 12′) with space for three guests (full and twin bed.) A small kitchenette allows for light food prep (no oven or stove but does have microwave and mini fridge). Coffee and tea is provided. Enjoy a hot shower at the end of your day, and sleep soundly with the help of blackout curtains.
