The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).

Our historic Cottage has stood graciously on the banks of the Barrington River since the 1880s. Scenic countryside is at your doorstep: enjoy a rambling walk and splash in the river. In winter, rekindle by the slow combustion fire, and let your soul unwind. Take in the tranquil scenery, with beauty that captivates as the seasons change. Tugwood Cottage

Gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage set in a vineyard with beautiful park like grounds and panoramic views. Set on 250 acres, there is plenty of room to explore. Unwind and relax - entertain on the patio overlooking the vines, take a dip in the plunge pool and enjoy the peaceful countryside while only 10 minutes from Gloucester village. Wine tasting available when the owner is onsite. Note guests are not permitted to participate in film or photography that is intended for commercial use or profit.

With navigable water to the Myall Lakes, the property is ideal for canoeists, bike riders and bird watchers - the world famous Seal Rocks, Myall Lakes National Park and coastal surfing beaches are all a short distance away. The detached cottage has been specifically designed for privacy views, and relaxation.

Your own entry into a spacious lounge/dining, well equipped kitchen, queen bedroom with a robe & en-suite. A sunny balcony with forest views is great for breakfast or afternoon drinks. A saltwater pool to use & shared laundry. Tinonee village is 5 mins from the Freeway & has a quiet country feel. Approx. 700m unsealed road brings you to our 10 acre property. In 12 mins you can be in Taree. 20-30 mins gets you to several local beaches or take a forest drive into the hinterland.

Upper Lansdowne is ~2hrs from Newcastle & ~25 mins off the freeway, but feels a million miles away with beautiful scenery & seclusion. Enjoy tranquil, epic views of mountains & farmland from a cute cabin overlooking a dam. Wake to the sound of birdsong. Located on a farm 400m from the road, the tiny house has an open feel, cathedral ceiling, queen bed, kitchenette & bathroom. Olen Cabin is our fully equipped guest house, located in the 'back paddock' of our 100 acre property, overlooking lagoons, pasture and gum trees that line the property.  Olen contains one bedroom, one bathroom, a welcoming and light vibe, with fresh decor, chosen for comfort. Stock the fridge with your favourites to enjoy during your stay. It's a chill place, no wifi & very limited phone service. It's time to unplug and reconnect. We hope to welcome you soon.
