The Nest

The Nest is a spacious one bedroom apt nestled in the Cavan countryside. Lovely quiet location, just off the N3, not far from The Slieve Russell, Hotel Kilmore, Cavan Crystal, Farnham Estate, Maguire's Bar & the Equestrian Centre. Nearby attractions a short drive away include The Marble Arch Caves, Cuilcagh Boardwalk, Killykeen Forest Park, Erica’s Fairy Forest, Cavan Adventure Centre, Florence Court House, Drumlane Abbey, Castle Saunderson, Lough Oughter and fishing spots to name but a few.

On a lakeside setting beside a public jetty which has direct access to the Shannon-Erne Waterway and near to the National Trust Crom Estate. A spacious, bright, airy, fully equipped self-catering house which has direct access down to Bun Bridge public jetty & small craft slipway. Relax, BBQ, stroll around, swim/jump off the jetty, use the slipway to launch your boat, jetski, kayak or do a spot of fishing.

Waterside Lodge with hot tub and access to lake

Purpose built Waterside Lodge has all conveniences for true 'home from home' comfort. Spacious living room with seating for 8, comfortable sofas with TV, adjoining well equipped kitchen and dining area. Two ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor. A further two bedrooms upstairs. washing machine, tumble drier, fridge, freezer and ironing facilities. storage for tackle, bicycles etc. Small sheltered garden with 6 person wood fired hot tub,play gym and patio with picnic bench. The Skewbald

The skewbald is set on an elevated site on farmland belonging to a private equestrian Property. Our vintage horse lorry has been converted into a cosy luxurious and peaceful space. It enjoys views of rural Fermanagh farmland and Cuilagh mountain. As it is on a private equestrian property it leads to the option of renting a stable and bringing your equine friend to enjoy Fermanagh on Horseback. It is a short distance from many tourist attractions, stairway to heaven, Marble Arch and others.

Cloverhill Gate Lodge

This old stone cottage built between 1830 -1850 is tucked away at the archway entrance to the Cloverhill Estate. This cottage is surrounded by gardens and woodland. The magic of this cottage is undeniable . Originally built for the Gate Keeper this cottage reflects heritage with rustic simplicity. Though some features and fittings have been replaced, the survival of historic features, including the label mouldings and timber bargeboards add to its character and charm.

The Floating Boathouse at Carrickreagh FP250

A unique stay on Lough Erne. This fully floating house boat is finished to an exceptional standard. The accommodation is open plan with a full size double bed, and a sofa bed that converts to a double bed. A travel cot can included upon request. There is a fully functioning kitchen complete with electric hob, oven & fridge. Outside there is a Weber charcoal BBQ for guests use (fuel not included). There is a full shower room. All bedding & towels are provided.

Situated 15 minutes from Cavan town and 5 minutes from the quaint village of Redhills, Claragh Cottage provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

There are a number of principal landmarks - Hilton Park, Clones Golf course, Clones Canal, Rossmore Park, Lough Muckno, and Castle Lesley. The perfect base to explore all the area has to offer or for those who need a comfy quaint base to relax. Lots of great pubs nearby as well as endless stunning walks.
