The Barragem do Cabril, with an outdoor pizza restaurant (summer) and two well known river beaches are in close proximity. There is a local cafe and mini-market about 300 metres from Chale Pomba.

Located at an altitude of 470m, the house boasts stunning views of up to 50 miles on a clear day. Recently restored to a high standard, the guesthouse comes complete with a private wood-burning hot tub (October-May) that can be a plunge pool in summer and a larger shared swimming pool that can be private upon request.

Sozen Mill é o lugar perfeito para aproveitar o sol e respirar ar puro numa atmosfera única. Com uma ribeira que desagua no rio Zêzere e pequenas quedas de água cristalinas, é um cenário de beleza natural ímpar. Esta propriedade é composta por 2 quartos independentes, 2 casas de banho e uma combinação de cozinha e sala de estar. Os quartos não têm ligação pelo interior da casa. É um lugar para estar em contacto com a natureza.

Enjoy a stay in our garden hut—a simple, minimalist space with WiFi (optional) and electricity via an extension cable. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a digital workspace. Our house is on the same property, with two more guest rooms, a shared kitchen, bathroom, and a dry composting toilet in the garden. We provide a mosquito net in summer and an electric heater in winter.

The property is a studio house adjacent to our family house. Our studio house is cosy and would suit a couple or small family who like to hike, cycle or just relax. Canoeing is possible a few kilometers away. The apartment is next to our own home but with complete privacy. Access is separate from main house.
