Come enjoy a relaxing stay in our two bedroom cabin where the old meets the new! This 90 year old cabin is rich in history with its rustic exterior and has been finished out with a modern design on the interior. The cabin is just south of Grand Lake and extremely easy to access via car, it is a five minute drive to the west gate of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Come unwind, explore and relax in our wonderland!

Built in 1961, our tiny cabin is located in the heart of Grand County just outside the charming and picturesque town of Grand Lake between Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Lake. Our 2 BR, 2 BA rustic cabin has basic modern conveniences to make for a wonderful mountain vacation experience. WiFi is now available, but we encourage you and your family to enjoy the simplicity of the cabin, unplug & get away from it all. Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

Historic 2.5-bedroom cabin w/sleeping porch

Historic cabin located just blocks from Grand Lake, the town beach, playground, and the boardwalk with shops and restaurants. Enjoy it's full kitchen,BBQ,firepit,canoe,and bike. The 3rd bedroom is a sleeping porch that can easily accommodate four. Our family has been living here full time for the past 4 years during which cabin has been remodeled.
