Once outside, you're on 60 acres of rolling pasture + 17 acres of forest. There are cattle, sheep, chickens & dogs (+ a couple of barn cats & seasonal pigs.). Plenty of space for hiking & exploring.

Our turn of the century farmhouse is situated in the country on over three acres. Enjoy a large kitchen, dining room and large family room along with three bedrooms (upstairs) and two full baths (1 up and 1 down). We are within 30 minutes to 3 state parks, Notre Dame, South Bend, LaPorte, Michigan City, IN and New Buffalo, Union Pier, Three Oaks, Sawyer, MI.

My place is close to 80/90 Toll -road exit 83-Mishawaka IN. Visit us for events at :Notre Dame/St. Mary's/Bethel college/Holy Cross College. Mileage to ND Campus is 11.4. 15 Minutes to Elkhart Aquatic Center. Approx 20 Min to Four Winds Casino (Via the 20 Bi-pass) This Spring 2021 The Silk was chosen by AIRBNB as the 2d best place to stay in the greater South Bend-Mishawaka area. I close in January and February but re-open in March.

The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.

Enjoy the privacy of the large lower level suite in a quiet neighborhood. The host lives on the main floor. We are within walking distance of Goshen College, Greencroft, a Vietnamese restaurant, and a great deli. A 45 min drive to Notre Dame, 20 min to Middlebury, 25 to Nappanee, 25 min to Shipshewana. All local tourist places. A few min. from historic downtown Goshen with unique restaurants, breweries, and shops.
