The property is light and spacious and the reception looking out into the private garden offers a tranquil feeling. I have created a 'London Theme' throughout the property. A good sized Master Bedroom with large King Size Bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers and en-suite wet room (Shower, Toilet, Sink). Bedroom 2 has a double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted television. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, sink and toilet. The open plan kitchen and reception is ideal to both relax and socialise. Modern but homely, large kitchen bar counter with bar stools. A large comfortable sofa and a feature ‘spitfire’ chair. Separate bistro dining table and chairs. A large wall mounted television with sound bar. Full height glass sliding doors open directly out into the fabulous garden. The garden has a bistro table and chairs and a 3 Meter king built in seating bench (with made to measure cushions for comfort). There is also a built in braai / bbq and a decked area. Stunning lighting has also been installed to offer an ambient garden experience. We provide super fast unlimted fibre broadband for your added enjoyment and convenience. My Airbnb is a ‘permanent airbnb’. The property is for the exclusive use of guests. I live just a few minutes away from the property so am generally always available to assist where necessary, answer any questions or recommendations for local bars and restaurants. If you require any printing out of documents or business services, I also have an office close by and pleased to assist. Balham is a wonderful small London suburb with a village feel, with many fabulous independent shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants and pleasant nightlife scene including bars, old-school pubs, and the Banana Cabaret comedy club. There are many parks just a short walk away, including Tooting Bec, Wandsworth and Clapham Commons for green open spaces and picnics. Great rapid transport links into Central London via Tube or Train as Balham Station is just a short 5 min walk away. Just a 5 minute walk from Balham Station which is on the Northern Line Underground and on the National Rail over-ground both offering easy quick access into the City and West End. It’s just 12 minutes on the National Rail From Balham to Victoria and then a short walk to Buckingham Palace. On the tube it’s Just 20 minutes to the South Bank (Waterloo/Embankment) and a couple more minutes to Leicester Square. For the kids wanting the Harry Potter Studio Tour there is a train from Balham once an hour to Watford Junction where you catch the short 10 minute bus ride to the Warner Bros. Studio! Parking is available on the road outside the property and I offer complimentary parking permits on request. WATER I’m often asked about the water. Water from the taps is perfectly safe to drink. USB In every room we have plugs with a USB port for easy charging of devices along with a couple of international plug adapters GENERAL My aim is for all my guests to have a relaxing and wonderful stay at my Airbnb. For your convenience, all cleaning products are provided for you, this includes washing up liquid, cleaning tabs for the dishwasher, washing powder and fabric softener, toilet rolls, shower gel in bathrooms, liquid soaps and hair conditioner. Romantic Cottage Retreat near Lancaster Castle

Snuggle up by the wood-burning fireplace in this cosy 'cottage/chalet style' sanctuary nestled within a peaceful walled oasis, just a few minutes from Lancaster town centre. It's remarkably light and airy inside, thanks to white paneling and skylights. Help yourself to a nice glass of bubbles and take in the spectacular close up views of Lancaster Castle from the window seat, whilst you plan your days ahead. Draw a hot bath in a copper tub big enough for 2 (with Castle View's very own homemade lavender bubble bath) before climbing in to the exceptionally comfortable 'secret bedroom'. Quaint on the outside. Quirky on the inside. Inside Castle View, the secret bedroom and bathroom are a real surprise and simply luxurious! Everything is kitted out with your complete comfort in mind. A giant copper bath for 2 people, a king size natural mattress with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen, Smeg fridge/freezer and a giant 'Loaf' sofa to sink into in front of the wood burner. The flat screen TV can be positioned to watch from the living room, 'secret' bedroom or bathroom. Insulation and remote control blackout blinds throughout the property ensure a peaceful nights sleep. The property is detached from our home and has it's own parking space. We're around in person or by text to help in any way that we can - although we completely understand that many guests will want to keep themselves to themselves. :) Just a minutes walk from Lancaster Castle, 3 minutes walk from Lancaster train station and a 4 minute, breath taking walk to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, yet situated in a peaceful walled oasis in the heart of historic Lancaster Castle Conservation area. Whether you want a romantic retreat or a comfortable base to explore the North West - the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Manchester Airport are all about an hour away. Parking space a few strides from the cottage. Getting around could not be easier! The property has it's own parking space. The train station really is 2 minutes walk away from the property gates. Simply wheel your case straight up from the platform. No need for a taxi! By train, Manchester airport is a direct 1 hour 15 train journey away. Oxenholme (The Lake District) 12 mins. Delightful seaside towns such as Silverdale and Arnside 15/20 mins away. Yorkshire Dales 30 minutes. Morecambe 10 minutes. There are frequent direct trains to Edinburgh and London that take just under 2.5 hours. There are cycle tracks on our doorstep to picturesque riverside locations and seaside villages and towns. We are less than 10 minutes walk away to the bus station. Children aged 8 years and upwards are welcome. Feel free to bring your own dry logs and kindling - or buy a basket from us for £10. This year we are giving 10% of our turnover to LDHAS (Lancaster & District Homeless Action Service). So your stay at Castle View will help to support the less fortunate in our community.

Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

You really couldn't get a better position to enjoy the Castle, the Palace, Arthurs Seat or the wonders of the Old Town of Edinburgh. Entire property. Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

The vibrancy of the students mixed with the idiosyncrasy of the more mature residents makes this one of the best neighbourhoods in Glasgow. Hillhead subway is 200m from the flat. I can arrange parking if guests have a car.

The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm Just five minutes drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa.
