Whitetail Yurt - A Mongolian Yurt on Ulva

Whitetail Yurt is situated on the Island of Ulva - which is accessed via a small foot passenger ferry fom Mull - on a secluded plot next to Ardalum House, in an exceptionally peaceful location alongside Ulva Sound, with views of Ben Mor, the highest mountain on Mull. Ulva is rich with lush woodlands, and there are extensive moorlands to the west, with otters, red deer, seals and eagles. The geology and archeology are renowned, with walks to basalt cliffs and the Livingstone caves.

Our beautiful handmade yurt is set amongst an ancient orchard on an idyllic smallholding, nestled between the Kent Downs AONB and Kent's spectacular coastline. The smallholding itself is a perfect slice of rural Kent with free-range chickens just a stone’s throw away, you’ll soon be making some unique friends. We have such a great location, Canterbury is just 10 minutes drive away and the trendy coastal town of Whitstable can be reached within 20 minutes.

Relax and unwind in our handmade Woodland Yurt. Set in it's own woodland glade on our small family run campsite, this lovely yurt is fully furnished to provide a magical glamping experience for a family or a romantic retreat. Enjoy an evening by the firepit toasting marshmallows or cosy up by the full size woodburner inside. A private, lockable shower room located within the main campsite facilities block.

This is a traditional style Mongolian yurt with ash frame and canvas cover. The space has 1 double bed 1 sofa bed (double) for up to 4 people. The yurt includes large wood-fired stove, electric heater, reading lamp with wireless charger, additional furnishings, lanterns, fairy lights, crisp white linen, bath towels and Hand Made Soap Company toiletries in the shower room.
