Isabel’s Cottage is owned by Lisa & Ivan. We live just next door. Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

A beautiful beach on the Solway Coast is only 12 miles away.

The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.

The Cottage sleeps 4 with the option of a single bed for 5th guest! It used to be a calving shed!Converted in the early 2000s the character and charm is plentiful .If you require a shorter stay please message me via Airbnb message.The bathroom has shower,sink and toilet. NEW LISTING JANUARY 2018 Charming barn converted cottage dating from 1700. It is based near the quiet part of West Cumbria's Lake District. A great place for couples and we always welcome your pet. The cottage also has two step down access to a pretty patio garden with pond. The garden is shared and is quite large.
