Our cottage was originally transferred from the Melbourne Botanical gardens. It is studio style with a seperate shower & toilet room. It has a queen bed and we supply all linen. It has a kitchenette with a fridge, electric stove & microwave & all needed appliances, crockery and cutlery. We provide basic breakfast items. The dining area has a table & chairs a TV. There is good wifi. From your private deck you overlook a spacious bush garden with the Sweetwater Creek flowing at the bottom.

Parkdale Railway Station on the Frankston line has been upgraded and is fully functional. With foliage it will be perfect! Even the lifts are now working. Recently renovated, this unique, one bedroom historic property is situated in the rear corner of what was once the Oakleigh Dairy. Close to public transport, great coffee, shops, parks and bike paths it a wonderful destination in itself, or springboard to all that Melbourne has to offer. Access the dairy by going up the driveway into no 2/53. It is on the right hand side. Our house is the red weatherboard one on the left. The house at the front, 1/53, is a private residence.

Our place is close to public transport, parks, and art and culture and beaches. You’ll love our place because of the tranquility, the garden, the level of comfort. We try in many ways to live as sustainably as possible. We grow some of our food and have recently added bees to our efforts to pollinate our fruit and vegetables. What the dog doesn't eat and the chickens do not devour goes into the compost centre and back on to the garden.
