You can even enjoy the private braai room next to the apartment or relax next to the pool. One night is too short too take it all in. If you want uninterrupted views of the ocean, walking distance from the beach, this is for you! Enjoy this unique open-plan beach house. Either have a sundowner on the beautiful outside deck overlooking the ocean, a braai in the courtyard while playing boules or share a glass of wine in front of the indoor fireplace/braai. Two spacious ocean view bedrooms, a big bathtub for two, a loft bedroom and open plan living & dining. Fully equipped kitchen that begs you to entertain family and friends.

The Getaway

The Getaway is an open plan north facing apartment with wonderful uninterrupted views of the Wilderness National Park Wetlands. There is a queen size four poster bed, bathroom, kitchen and a private deck with a gas BBQ where you can enjoy the splendid views. We offer free WiFi, and have solar electricity and water. The Getway is situated in Wilderness East: • 800m from the beach • 50m from the Kingfisher trail • 500m from the N2 national road • The village of Wilderness is 4 km's to the west

The apartment is above our garage and we have the benefit of solar power. We're about 2-4km from shops and restaurants, beach and family-friendly activities like the famous Saturday morning markets. We offer good beds, peace and quiet, kayaking, (a 2man kayak available), natural surroundings central to the Garden Route, only a 20 minute drive to Knysna, which is half way to Plettenberg Bay. Also 15 minutes to Wilderness Village, 40 minutes to George airport and about an hour to Oudtshoorn

Sedgefield is located in the heart of the Garden Route near Knysna and George where an airport is located. You’ll love our place because of the views into the garden and the sounds of bird and frog song. There are views of the sea and Gericke's Point from the garden. We have back-up power in case of load shedding.
