Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Here we have the northern lights dancing upon us and all around the beautiful mountain scenery during the winter months. During the summertime you can enjoy the spectacular and unique midnight sun in the pure Icelandic nature. We also offer guided hikes and northern light tours upon request.
