Three bedroom, 2,500 sq. foot home nestled under majestic oak trees in the heart of Cajun Country-- only 25 minutes from Lafayette & 45 minutes from Lake Charles. Convenient location to tour the scenic area, attend festivals, and other attractions in South Louisiana. Enjoy a relaxing stay at our beautiful home on the Mermentau River. This house sleeps 9 easily with 6 beds, a queen sleeper sofa, a futon and two full bathrooms to accommodate a large family. This home offers an outside screened in sitting area, and private wharf to enjoy fishing. Dock your boat at the public boat launch located about 5 minutes from the house and enjoy a nice cruise on the river. We also offer a camper spot located on the property for an additional fee, 50 amp full hook up.
