Beautiful Cotswold Cottage with stunning views

I have recently renovated my beautiful Cotswold cottage, taking inspiration from rustic French farmhouses and Moroccan riads, and filling it with eclectic old pieces of furniture and art I have picked up on my travels. I grew up in the village and now live half the time there and half the time in London, so I can give lots of tips for places to visit, eat and explore. The cottage can sleep up to 6 people, and is managed by my friend Kate from Stay Country who will liaise with you if you book.

Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

A light spacious Cotswold barn conversion, for 2 people with panoramic views of the Cotswold countryside Aga and fully equipped kitchen Separate bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower room separate access and no shared facilities. A 2 minute drive or 30 minute walk will lead you to another renowned culinary destination, Daylesford Organic Farm Shop, Restaurant and Spa. Famous Cotswold villages surround the area including Stow on the Wold, Burford and Bourton on the Water.

Badgers Bothy is set within a woodland glade in the grounds of the 16th century Amberley Farmhouse and provides the most unique and charming country escape. Our idyllic cottage is set on the edge of Minchinhampton Common (located in an AONB) and with miles of footpaths which are perfect for those wishing to explore the Cotswolds. This beautiful cottage exudes an aura of peace and tranquillity and a haven for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life.

We are in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and are a popular destination for walkers and cyclists who want to explore the many footpaths and bridleways. The cottage is a 2.5 mile drive from Bourton-on-the-Water and a short walk across the fields to the cafe in Notgrove.
