Salt Spring Gite

Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

Adults only, comfy spacious cottage on a private setting! Close driving distance to parks, hiking, art and culture, great views, restaurants & the beaches. A light breakfast of organic granola and fruit in the fridge is offered, as well as teas, coffees, etc. The seaside farm is down the driveway where horses, sheep, chickens, cats, and a dog live. Byrd's Nest Guesthouse

Byrd’s Nest is a retreat nestled among the trees. This custom-built guesthouse was completed in June 2025. It spans 357 sq. ft. and features a studio layout with a kitchen and bathroom. Surrounded by evergreen trees and approx. 30 feet from the main house, it offers a charming treehouse-like experience. The whole property is 6.6 acres at an elevation of over 200 ft. Views of Mount Baker, the North Cascade Mountain range, the Skagit Bay, and forest land can be seen from the guesthouse.
