Our home is nestled high on a hilltop in the established and desirable neighborhood of Vistas Atenas overlooking the quaint town of Atenas. We have unobstructed stunning views from Atenas to the capital city of San Jose, and boast temperatures slightly more moderate than the valley. The daytime views are only surpassed by the dazzling lights at night. We are a sort 3km drive to downtown Atenas. 2 acres of manicured gardens surround our large modern home. Safe and secure parking in our gated and fenced compound. Atenas is well situated making access to all attractions popular with tourists. Juan Santamaria airport 23 km,Pacific coast beaches 40 km, Arenal Volcano 111 km, San Jose 35 km.

You’ll often see monkeys, iguanas, and a variety of birdlife.The area is peaceful, away from dust and crowds, offering a safe and quiet environment with plenty of shade to keep things cool throughout the day. There’s a hammock outside, perfect for relaxing. Several yoga retreats are nearby, and we offer on site surf rentals.

A 4x4 rental car is highly recommended for the rugged and unpaved roads in the area.
