Authentic log home is available year around. As the crow flies it is less than 500m from the Atlantic coast. The house is set in a meadow surrounded by trees with a fantastic view over Hayden Lake. Lots of space and privacy. Smell the fresh forest air. Relax or take a walk. Enjoy the nature. The water toys invite you. Jump in to swim. Watch the incredible starry sky and feel comfortable in the cozy Mainhaus. Good beds, heating, a sauna, the open woodstove in the Sunroom make it comfortable.

We are very excited to share with you, our completed cottage! Built in 2023, this modern fully furnished cottage is a little oasis in a small fishing community. We can't wait to share our little piece of paradise with you while you enjoy your stay at It's A Shore Thing. This cottage will not disappoint. Its cozy, comfortable and relaxing. By the harbor, you will enjoy the salt water & air as you watch the boats pass by. Its a very clean, quiet environment and you can make wonderful memories.

The Property is located in Braeshore and just a short walk away from Pictou Lodge. Access to Graham's Pond and close to Caribou Park, beaches and walking trails. Spacious accommodations with a great view and place to relax outside and enjoy the nice weather. Quiet neighborhood with over an acre of land and plenty of privacy. Private entrance and plenty of space to park. Great area to kayak or canoe (equipment provided for a fee). No pets allowed. Please read house rules before booking.

Grab your favourite beverage and slip into the HOT TUB over looking Third lake, or head down to the fire-pit by the water. You'll never run out of places to relax and unwind at this lakeside retreat. If you're looking to get on the water, you can explore the lake on the 2 adult kayaks, or take the floaties for a float. In the winter, enjoy skating, or curl up with a good book while the wood stove keeps you nice and toasty. Enjoy what cottage life is all about in this all year round retreat.

Tucked away on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia is this harbour hideaway cottage and retreat. Secluded location on 12 acres with over 1500 feet of waterfront on Country harbour. An amazing view of the water sets the mood for a stay of relaxation and fun. Bring your adventure of boating, kayaking, fishing, bonfires and more and stay for a water vacation. Close access to convenience store . We offer a floating dock in season and a launch ramp for your watercraft in the summer months.

The Beach House

This is cottage country, if you want to get out of the city and relax this is the place to be. You are staying on a river which dumbs directly into the Atlantic Ocean with a small private beach right on the property. Plenty of fish to catch, sea trout, stripped bass and salmon. The small town of Guysborough is 20 min away for any shopping or site seeing. Have a camp fire on the river side or take a dip off the bridge right across the street. A great getaway for family or friends.

Excellent spot for a quiet getaway in the woods! This is a recently renovated cottage with the most amazing view of Third Lake. Four bedrooms, six beds. 1.5 bathrooms. Included is the use of 2 pair of snowshoes, fire pit, bbq. The kitchen was recently renovated. Only 1.15hrs from downtown Halifax and still within HRM. Directly off a quiet paved, plowed road!
