Enjoy breakfast on the deck, read a book on the daybed and then sit by the fire pit in the evening watching the stars appear.

The area is a haven for native birds – you will hear birdsong through the day including water birds nesting on the natural dam below the farmhouse (where turtles can sometimes be spotted). The “Old Glenroy Dairy”, Sunshine Coast Hinterland

The “Old Glenroy Dairy” cottage is located in the heart of the Mary Valley and Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Kenilworth. The dairy was originally built in the early 1920’s and has been lovingly restored to retain its history and character with furnishings which celebrate the era that it was built. The cottage is private and boosts gorgeous views of the property with cows grazing close by. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind with Kenilworth township only a short distance away.

Mary river Farmstay, SE Qld

4 bedrooms: 1 double bed, 1 queen double, 1 single and 1 queen double with a double & single bunk bed in the large room. Kitchen: electric stove, microwave, refrigerator& utensils. Suitable for families. The farm has a herd of cows, 1 klm of Mary River frontage with lungfish, frogs and platypus. Large areas of scenic bush walking. We have a secure enclosure for dogs on the verandah, but not inside the house. Ponds near house have rare frogs, often active in wet weather.

Wicklow Cottage

Wicklow Cottage is a renovated country cottage situated on a working farm approximately 12 min north of Kingaroy, near the village of Wooroolin. It is a quiet location yet close to town and near the rail trail. You can choose to base yourself here to explore the area or just chill out on the verandah with a good book, a glass of local wine, enjoying the view. Some guests stay while on short term work assignments. 2 pm checkout on Sundays for weekend bookings
