A 65-year-old old private house has been renovated and transformed into a new space that combines the quaint atmosphere of the past with a modern Japanese feel. Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

My newly renovated accommodation is the best place to start your trip around this area. Just 6 minutes walk to Kawaguchiko station and few minutes walk to the lake, and 5 minutes to Ropeway. Also convenience store is nearby. This accommodation is only for entire renting and wide enough for 11 guests, width is almost 100Sqm. We have bedrooms, living room with Mt. Fuji view, smart toilet, kitchen, and bathroom in our accommodation. We are looking for your visit!

"Inn" is a Showa-era retro guest house that was renovated from a 70-year-old house, and has four rooms and a common space. *Unlike a typical hotel, the bath, toilet, and kitchen are shared with other guests.
