The Old Music Room

The Old Music Room is in the beautiful and special village of Geldeston, in the Broads National Park. It’s a super-insulated ecologically-built guest house clad in traditional oak boarding, with a living wild-flower roof and stunning views directly out over the Waveney Valley. Geldeston is a glorious place to be and enjoyed by many visitors. The village is on the river Waveney with lots of places to access the river, very popular with walkers, cyclists and boaters. Beautifully positioned just a stone’s throw away from the River Waveney, this charming 2 bedroom cottage is idyllically located in the heart of the thriving market town of Beccles, within minutes’ walk to the many independent boutiques and chain shops, an excellent collection of eateries. With the local Lido and easy access to an array of activities the river has to offer such as canoeing, kayaking, river trips and many more, there really is something for everybody.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Garden rest. It is perfectly situated for walkers just 2 miles from the bustling town of Loddon where, after a beautiful walk through the countryside, fields and country lanes why not stop for a break at one of Loddons four pubs. Also just 1.5 mile walk from the beautiful Sisland woods and many other footpaths. Just 12 miles from our fine City of Norwich which can be reached by a regular bus route from Loddon.

We didn't want it to be plain and ordinary so we hope whatever brings you here that you will find it different and extra special too. Number 20 is found in Thurton, within reach of Norwich, the Norfolk Broads and the coastline. Staying put is just as enjoyable! If you love being outside the country lanes and public footpaths that run through the active farmland make for some lovely walks. Or sit tight, stoke the fire and get cosy.

Low Beam Lodge Pets Welcome Self Contained Lodge

A pretty detached single storey holiday lodge, with a private garden. The lodge is cosy, self-contained and tastefully furnished. Adjacent to our property Meadow Cottage, situated right in the heart of Loddon, a small market town on the river Chet. Dogs welcome. Please note we have some low beams in the property and parking is in the Loddon Staith car park at a rate of £3 per day, free after 6pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
