The Beach Cottage

The Beach Cottage is a self-catering cottage on a working dairy farm within walking distance to the beach. It is only 10km from the EL airport and a 20 minute drive into EL. The cottage has beautiful views of the sea as well as of cows grazing on green pastures. It has a fully functional kitchen. Tea, coffee, fresh farm milk & rusks are provided on arrival. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Please note, own transport advisable as we are on a farm.

A spacious bright and airy tranquil home

Our house is bright, airy and welcoming with an open-plan lifestyle, large sliding doors opening onto a covered verandah and a private courtyard and secure off-street parking. You're just minutes from the beach and shops and our neighbourhood is safe and friendly. The sunny main bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms both have two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Our house is filled with books, love and light and we look forward to your visit!

The cottage has two bedrooms as well as a "rumpus/family room" so it is the perfect set-up for 2 families sharing. The rumpus room can sleep two children but is not suitable for adults. There is secure parking, Wi-Fi and TV. We are only 20 minutes from East London Airport and less than 15 minutes to OK Foods

A 5-minute walk from the beach, a 2-minute walk from the little convenience shop and fully licensed recreation club. A quiet and safe little village where kids can ride their bikes and play in the streets. Great walks along the beach and excellent fishing spots, a real gem situated in an unspoiled part of nature. Perfect place to unwind & recharge yourself.

Our self catering studio, with backup power and aircon, is connected to the main house. It offers a neat and cozy open plan studio style unit with private entrance and private deck. There is remote access and off street parking for 1 vehicle. Double cab bakkies with a tow hitch don’t fit when there’s 2 cars parked in - where on street parking is generally safe in our quiet neighbourhood. Nahoon Beach and river is 1.5km, Spar and restaurants 500m away.
