King size bed & new technology foam offers complete comfort in separate climate controlled bedroom. Heated bathroom floor is a “warm” surprise. Optional outdoor shower for the adventurous spirit. Kitchen lacks nothing tucked conveniently in the great room.

Enjoy time at the lake or one of our local swimming holes. If hiking is your speed, nothing beats a journey to the gorges of Ithaca. If local is what you want, we have it! Pets are allowed with a pet deposit!

Newly remodeled and located directly on the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, our home has a large backyard area & decks to gather on and is the perfect getaway for groups of friends and families alike. We are just minutes away from the unique shops of Hammondsport and the best breweries, wineries & distilleries this area has to offer! Sip wine around the fire pit, nap between the trees in our large hammock or read a book on one of our decks! (Owner lives next door and is available when needed.)

The Creek House Private Home & Scenic Grounds

The Creek House: a fully renovated 1 bdrm, 1 bath home with a full modern kitchen and large new deck situated right next to a year round babbling brook. The creek is 15 feet from the foot of the deck stairs; its sounds lull guests to sleep each night. Frogs, salamanders, crayfish, and all manner of forest life abound. The stream meanders through the mixed park like and wooded parcel ending at a 25’ wide 6’ high waterfall. Antique clawfoot tub. Water may have a sulfur smell (see below).

There have been professional photos done by the Airbnb photographer, and they are finally here! This is the 2nd Hammy on a Rye right next door to the original Hammy on a Rye started almost 4 yrs ago. This is similar in size and layout as the other home. It has two king-size bedrooms, 2 full baths, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, laundry, and central air. There is also plenty of off-street parking available. We are putting together the gas firepit and seating now
