It is the ideal location for anyone wanting to be accessible to Mount Desert Island, yet be away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and traffic. Just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous Lamoine Beach and Lamoine State Park, and a quick drive to Marlborough Beach and Blunts Pond (an amazing local swimming hole!). Union River Retreat Private Apartment

Experience comfort and natural beauty in this private one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with spectacular sunset views of the Union River. When you arrive at the Flower Farm Loft you're greeted by our dogs, who will likely jump on you with muddy paws and request fetch and pets. You're immediately surrounded by flowers in our gardens and flower studio. The loft has big east facing windows that look over our farm and surrounding fields. You'll open the curtains in the morning to incredible sunrises over Kilkenny Cove, and end your nights at your private fire pit with immaculate star filled skies that will make it hard to go inside.

Take in the ocean views from our quiet hilltop just 20 minutes from downtown Camden and 10 minutes from Belfast. This newly constructed above garage studio apartment is private, full of light, and effortlessly off-grid. The studio features a king-sized bed, table and chairs, comfy chair and bean bag, as well as a full bath. The patio area gives breathtaking views of the bay and island. Two bedroom second floor apartment. An easy 7 minute drive to Mount Desert Island, and 17 minute drive to Acadia National Park’s, Hulls Cove visitor center, 22 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor. In the other direction, an easy 10 minute drive to Ellsworth, 29 minutes to Newbury Neck Beach, 30 minutes to Blue Hill. The perfect place to return to get away from the crowds and unwind after a day of exploring. Monthly discount will only be accepted when requesting to book months November through May.

Willowbrook is a comfortable 1BR unit in a perfect spot for guests wanting to get out and explore Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park! It sits right in the center of Mount Desert Island at the top of the Somes Sound - making it easy to navigation easy on the Lung-Shaped island instead of staying in one of the corners of MDI. The small backyard area is a nice private spot to relax without having to bump into any other guests in neighboring units as it is surrounded by fencing.

We have an open, airy studio apartment with a queen bed, twin bed, and twin trundle under the twin, private bathroom and full kitchen, located approximately 25 miles, or about a 40 minute drive, from Acadia National Park. Pets are welcome as we have a small fenced in area in the backyard. Bring home a lobster and cook it in the fully furnished kitchen.

My home is on a quiet street in Ellsworth, 18 miles from Acadia National Park and 4 miles from Branch Lake, the warmest water in the area for swimming! The Island Explorer, a free shuttle bus, takes you to Acadia and other towns on Mt. Desert Island free of charge from designated areas close to my home.
