Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. There is No Kitchen. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally. It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.

It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes!
