Water surrounds you on all sides as birds abound. You’ll see pelicans streaming past; egrets finding their familiar ground; eagles, hawks, and turkey vultures looking down in curiosity. Deer, jackrabbits, and wild turkey graze together while melodic birdsong fills the air.

My two story cottage is nestled in the Black Forest so there's plenty of privacy from neighbors and several interpretative hikes for wandering. Relax on the multi-level deck and stare at the sunrises and starry night skies or chill in the hammock that's surrounded by a bamboo garden.

This secluded, peaceful property has a full kitchen, huge deck, two king bedrooms with in-suite bathrooms and a king Murphy bed and full bath in the living space. The popular Healdsburg Plaza, with all its shops and restaurants, is just a 15-minute walk away. A family of foxes often makes early morning visits and we once saw an otter in the river.
