Bring the whole family to this private country getaway. With 2500 sq ft of living space and 7 total acres you’ll have plenty of space to explore! Of those 7 acres, 3 of them are a private lake great for fishing, swimming or a paddle boat. This “guesthouse” is the finished basement of the house we live in. These are 2 completely separate spaces with their own entrances. We live in the upstairs and offer our 2500 sq ft finished basement with its own living room, kitchen, game room & 2 bedrooms.

House is located in a gated, private community with a 320 acre lake up to 70 ft deep. Only pontoon boats and fishing boats permitted, ensuring a quiet lake experience and wake-free dock sitting. Two kayaks, canoe, paddle board and some basic fishing equipment for guest use. Pontoon rental by owner - separate contract.

Private access to the entire basement. It has 2 bdrms and 1 bthrm. There is a mini fridge and microwave. Free WiFi, TV in both bdrms and the living area with HULU, Netflix, Paramount+, Disney+, Amzn Prime. PoolTable, Electric Fireplace, office w/computer, treadmill and elliptical and a fully stocked kids playroom. House sits on a 12 acre farm with a stocked pond for fishing, Hot tub, inground pool, sand volleyball court, firepit, covered patio, several seating areas and an outdoor bar.

Nestled in the small rural community of Sonora, KY; and just off Exit 81 of Interstate 65, this apartment offers a beautiful back deck overlooking our small lake with fountain. Only 5 minutes from Glendale, Ky. While visiting you may see deer, squirrels, fish jumping in the lake as well as rabbits. You are welcome to bring your fishing pole and catch some fish. If peace and quiet are what you are looking for, but still need access to a major highway, this is the place.

Our 1901 Lake House is fully restored and ready for your enjoyment. Excellent place for families to meet and catch up! Our home is located just off of Interstate 65 (I-65) at the Sonora exit. We are just 15 miles south of Elizabethtown, 10 miles west of Hodgenville, the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, 50 miles south of Louisville, 50 miles north of Bowling Green, 90 miles west of Lexington, and 105 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee.
