Our apartment is good for couples and solo travellers. Attached to our house, this is a small but very comfortable and modern space, with private entrance and patio garden. We are situated in a village within the Tamar Valley which is on the border between Devon and Cornwall - close to both moorlands and coast. You have easy access to all areas of the Southwest, particularly the parks of Dartmoor and Bodmin, Plymouth and the town of Tavistock. It is a great area to explore or just to relax!

Our light, spacious cottage has 2 king size bedrooms and 2 shower rooms upstairs. Downstairs bedroom with 2 single beds and further shower room. Enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay in an idyllic Cornish woodland and pastural setting where we have spent many years creating a haven for native fauna and flora on our smallholding.

Cosy Hares lodge in the Tamar Valley

Hares Lodge is situated at the bottom of our farm road, giving uninterrupted views down the Tamar Valley and the river Tamar and on to Plymouth Sound. We are near the historic town of Tavistock, national trust house Cotehele, and of course Dartmoor National park which can be seen from the Lodge. We are five minutes away, by car, from the village train station which takes you into the historic maritime town of Plymouth. The Eden project is 1.5 hours away, and the beaches 30 minutes away.
