A three minute walk from the house and you are in the High Street. Sylvester’s Place is perfect for couples, families or friends.. Fluffy towels, cotton sheets, feather duvets & pillows are provided. Travel cot & bedding available upon request. The sitting room has a working fireplace, Sky TV, DVD player & board games, binoculars & wildlife/plant ref books.

It has 2 toilets, shower room (no bath), off road parking at Alpine Road or in a road nearby.

My house has been described as light and "cosy". It is filled with books, art and interesting things - it is very much a home from home, and not a holiday let. In the winter there is a log burner, in the summer a sunny flint walled garden. Nestled within the South Downs National Park this medieval village has independent and quirky shops, lots of choices of where to eat. Walks to enjoy - nearby is the sea, forest, vineyards, Downs or riverside. London 2 hours by car, 90 mins by train.

From the photos in the hallway and the garden decorations to the modern balcony facing (and only literally a few steps away from!) Camber Sands’ famous dunes, this property is perfect for those who love the beach and sea. If you hate sand this is not the property for you-a real beach experience.

The house is within both 200metres of the sea to the south and Warrior Square train station to the north. The recently refurbished mews house is set within a private courtyard and has all that you could wish for - for either short or long stay. There are many shops restaurants and cafes within a short walk of the property and the newly rebuilt pier is a 20 minute stroll along the seafront. A further 10 minutes walk and you will be in the historic old town of Hastings.

When we are away for the weekend/holiday we rent our home on Airbnb for others to enjoy. You have access to 3 floors – two lovely bedrooms, comfy king beds, cotton linen, towels, big window and high ceilings; 1 bathroom, with bath & strong shower & natural toiletries; living /dining room, with big TV and fireplace; bright kitchen and patio & garden. Free parking on the road; 10-minute walk to beach, 5 to the train! The Old Town and St Leonard's are all walkable.
