Tanekaha Treehut is a cosy little cabin nestled in a private forest valley, the perfect romantic hideaway near some of New Zealand's best beaches. Enjoy the covered deck, native bird calls, and the sound of a nearby waterfall. A modest kitchen provides self-catering essentials, while the private bathroom, down a well-lit forest path, offers a tranquil alfresco shower experience. The Treehut also features its own private hot tub. A unique and understated escape in the heart of the Coromandel.

We are perfectly situated for easy day trips to Hot water beach or Cathedral cove & many other Coromandel beaches. We are 5 mins drive to Thames town, cafes & restaurants. Come relax & unwind & recharge your batteries. We are 1 hour 20 mins from Auckland international Airport. Sorry no late check-out.

Easy driving distance to beaches, bush walks, kayaking & the famous Puhoi pub. Or simply relax, enjoy the birdsong, views, sunsets, a coffee or wine on the deck, star-gazing. Well set up for self-catering with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave. Cosy wood fire in winter. Hosts live nearby and are very happy to provide any help.

Fleetwood is home to 2 serene studio spaces—side by side, each with its own private entrance and parking at the door. You’ll feel safe, secure, and completely at ease in our peaceful pocket of the island. If your preferred dates aren’t available, check our other listing—we have 2 identical studios here at Fleetwood. Note it is an outdoor bath tub, not a spa pool. More hygienic - fresh water & no chemicals.

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

A nature retreat with city convenience

Fully furnished studio unit with a modern bathroom and kitchenette. The studio has a separate entry, and is attached to our family home (we're a kiwi family with 3 young children). Clean, spacious and light. Unlimited ultra fast fibre wifi internet. Our home is surrounded by native forest (kauri, manuka, totara, rimu). Native birds like tui, kereru, piwakawaka and ruru frequently visit.

We are very close to several beautiful beaches which are safe for swimming. We are within an eco village that is run solely on solar power and is a quiet and restful retreat space. Coromandel Bach @ Otama Beach

Our original Kiwi bach (cabin) overlooks one of the Coromandel Peninsula's most beautiful beaches - Otama. It's like stepping back into another time but with all modern conveniences. Eclectically styled, we're very proud to say we were featured in the December 2016 edition of NZ House & Garden magazine and have been Airbnb Superhosts since the programme began over ten years ago.
