The Courthouse is a historic sandstone building in the heart of the village of St Albans. It’s nestled on the sandstone hills of the McDonald River. The Courthouse used to be the old jail and police lock up, combined with the old stables which is a rustic studio apartment, sleeps 10 in total The Stables is located 30 m away from the Courthouse in a separate building. The stables is rustic and advertised as one step up from camping. It is a self-contained studio apartment basic yet quaint.

Situated on a half acre property with lovely country views, you'll have peace and privacy in this recently renovated studio. The room features a queen 4 poster bed and a double sofa bed to accommodate up to 4 adults comfortably. Enjoy your stay in style, cleanliness and comfort and enjoy the use of the pool at your convenience. Please note the guesthouse is on a property shared with the main house which includes shared use of pool. Also note two friendly dogs are on the property.

Kables Retreat

Spoil yourself and enjoy a luxe escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our unique sandstone lodge, located in 30 acres of bushland is surrounded by a national park, rivers and wildlife. We provide comfortable, quality accommodation for friends, families and couples as well as larger gatherings using one or all three of our facilities. The main house can sleep 14, apartment 4 & studio up to 6 people. There is also a pool onsite, landscaped gardens and a billiard table.
